Digital Story 3

Reflection- This is the third movie I have completed in this class. This one is a story of an individual living in a poor african village. There is a food famine and it needs to be stopped. This video tells you about how he is living in such harsh conditions. It shows how his village has been affected by this food crisis and how help can be given. This video helped me talk better as someone else in the first person.

Story 3 narrative

I am currently living in a poor village in Africa and times are tough. We are currently going through a scarcity of food, also known as a famine. Resources are low, just as well as food and water. Living with very little food is extremely tough and starvation is a common factor in this area. The main reason we are living through these conditions is that fact that we've been suffering through a horrible drought. Having no rain leads to crops dieing, so we have nothing to eat. Seeing how hungry civilians are, including myself is really scary. I consider myself to be one of the lucky ones. I don't face as many problems as other people living in my area. A major cause that is caused by this food hunger is disease. I am not suffering from any diseases at the moment but I do know people that are and at any moment I can obtain one. I hope things get better here and we cold use all of the help that we can get. I just have to remember to never ever give up hope and the help will come.

Future Now Contest Video

Reflection- The topic of this video is my dreams for the future. While you watch this video, you will find out what I want to do in the future. you will see what future professions I want to fulfill in the future and about how much money that I would like to make. Making this video made me feel like I really can achieve those goals if I just try my hardest all of the time. I had many thoughts about my future while making and finishing this movie.

Digital Story 2 Narrative

In ten years, we will be in the year 2020. I will be 25 years old and hopefully I will have a high paying profession. I would like to graduate from a very good university so I can achieve what I want to achieve. Although I cannot determine the future, the future determines itself. Although I do have some dreams that I would like to fulfill such as future professions. I really want to run a business office in Manhattan and make a good profit out of it. My father runs a business in Brooklyn that is very successful so I want to keep up with the tradition. this has always been one of my dreams so I really hope that I can fulfill it for the better. As well as becoming successful in business, I would also like to do do something in the music business. Some ideas would be either a music agent or just simply an internship at a music facility. I just want a profession that interests me in the most and that makes me enough money.I just want to be successful in life, no matter where my life takes me. Well yes I want many things, but these are the main focuses as of now. Hopefully my dreams will come true in the future.

Reflection-
The story We are just Americans by Linda represents a global competent author. It is a very cultural story and its tells about a young girl growing up with problems in her family and heritage. The aspect of the asia society graduate profile that was reached was the Knowledge Required in the Global Era section. it reached this goal by the story talking mostly about cultural events and cultural issues that Linda had. One aspect of the profile that was not reached was the Going to College aspect.

Graduate Portfolio Reflection

My project describes the graduate portfolio by it describing many different uses of technology, some including internationally made ones. The project relates to a few of the aspects in the graduate portfolio. It relates to the Effective Users of Technology part of the portfolio by this project relating to technology completely. There is no other aspect that m project relates to more than that one in this  graduate portfolio. Athough it is also forwarded towards the Aware of World Events and Global Dynamics part of the portfolio. The movie shows global technologies from all over the world so that is where the connection is made with the aspect. this project also made me a better 21st century thinker because I got more used to using iMovie so I became better with that program. Hopefully my next project will reach out to more aspects of the graduate portfolio so I will be more culturally aware.

Generation Y Digital Story

This digital story shows how I think my generation is represented. This is a good story to watch if you want to know about generation Y.

Reflection: This digital story is about the generation that I am living in right now. It describes certain technologies and programs that are used in modern day life. I made this movie using iMovie. I learned a lot about sing iMovie by doing this project. This was not that hard of a project to do and it helped me learn many things. m generation is obviously represented by technology which is showed in this video.

My Generation Script First Draft

My  Generation Script

I see my generation to be technologically advanced. Technology is basically the main focus of the 21st Century. Compared to previous generations, my generation has  the most enhanced technologies available. Some devices that have flourished by this time have been the cell phone, the Macbook, and newer generations of the Ipod. Cell phones have enhanced communication purposes in many ways. Texting is a huge advancement in this generation that most people use on a normal basis, probably even more than phone calls. Computer devices have also improved in the amount of softwares and programs that are available to us. The programs that are mostly used in this generation include Microsoft Powerpoint and iMovie. Macintosh Products can represent this generation very easily because of all the great technologies that we use by them at this point. I use both of these programs and many other softwares that relate to media work. Well there's not much  else to say about this generation except for the fact that this is a technological generation and that we are influenced by technology.
As well as computers and cell phones, there have been advances in gaming systems.  some new gaming systems include the Nintendo Wii, the XBOX360, and the PS3. All of these systems are improvements of older systems in the past. These gaming devices have better features and online play; smething the olde systems didn't have. I find them to be great entertainment consoles and to be major technological advancements. Well there's nothing else to say bot this generation except for the fact that we are living in a technological world. Who knows hat future generations will be like. There will probably be even bigger advancements in later generations.
